I write with quill and ink although I realize life has changed.

We’ve invented lead today, which I find, using, strange.

A scratch on page with graphite seems so easy to replace

All one has to do is take some rubber and erase.

But when I dip my pen in ink and ply it to the page,

That creates more permanence than pencil can convey!
