You Make Me Want to Die

I have ascertained

That it could quickly be arranged

That we could soon become estranged

If I were drunk enough to count.

Alas but I am not

And all the wrath that it has wrought!

In fact, too often I have thought

It more important to surmount

The question of what’s really there

And if we’re simply Fred Aisteres,

Dancing along for someone’s cares

Whom we’ll never even meet.

But that’s okay because

We found areal important clause

In the fine print. You must pause

And just don’t admit defeat.
