I am indebted to beauty

As I am indebted to eyes.

And I am indebted to sound

As I am indebted to ears.

The funny thing is it’s illusion

You aren’t even seeing what’s real.

You’re only being shown the portion you need

To see to survive to pass on your genes.

Unfortunate beings, are we

That, we see so very little

Of what’s known to other creatures.

Ultraviolet, waves of all kinds, so much of the world is visible that we can never visuialize.

Yet we claim supremacy over all life.

Snow leopards have amazing vision.

They can see in ultraviolet.

When snow leopards mark their territory in urine, 

It glows so that other leopards can see it from afar.

Did you know there are people who’re born

Seeing 100 times more colors than you?

Can you imagine how that would be?
To look at a leaf and see, not only green,

But colors without names illuminating your reality?

And reality is far stranger

Than you could ever conceive.

Einstein created theory 

For how we OBSERVE things in our universe behaving.

And all of his predictions have borne out.

But those rules no longer apply, 

When you examine how matter TRULY behaves on an elemental scale.

We must invent new, counterintuitive rules.

Now Physics is searching for an explanation. 

They want to UNITE the two branches of Physics

Instead of just accepting Einstein was wrong.

And Quantum Mechanics is right

About how the universe really works.

No union is really needed, just more knowledge.

They think the Union will EXPLAIN why they are different.

They think it will EXPLAIN the singularity that existed prior to the “Big Bang” 

(which wasn’t a bang at all!).

So what we really need is an explanation

have.

True wisdom has nothing to do with what you know. True wisdom is knowing what is unknowable.
