I yearn to know as much as I can learn
A gift, this age is, to a probing mind
And one should learn the right things to discern
Or else you aren’t learning, you are blind.

In order to expand you have to grow
And grow your base of knowledge and of facts.
Our brains are made elastic like a dough
And one can grow or shrink it with some tact

Although there must be pleasure there is pain
And in-between it moments you could fly
The purpose of our lives is not to gain
It’s seeking for eternity the why’s

But when you learn the ‘why’ is just because
Will that drive you mad or give you pause?
