It seems a long, long spell.
With what shall ye fill all the days?

Ye will still be busy, friends!
Just harder to explain.

And we will view the latest play
By Shakespeare in the nude.
Ye can put on plays yourself 
With normal-sorts of dudes…

So, torture me with ancient tomes
About what’s right and wrong.
I’ll just be the best I can
And sing my little songs.
