Hark, the bell is tolling for us all.

For we allowed the wicked to succeed.

The world we’ve built is destined soon to fall.

For we’ve allowed the greedy men to lead.

And they are greedy purely for greed’s sake

For who can be fulfilled extracting more

From this Mother Earth than she can take?

Humanity’s a pig that I deplore.

Most ev’ry day the signs of the collapse

Increase in number; as  our endless woes.

The situation masked by all the graphs

Is worse than they are willing to disclose

A sad and sorry state we all are in.

Humanity flourished to its chagrin.
