An empire in a state of collapse.

You can see the errors of the ones 

We call the founders with reverence.

Their stated mission was to build a country impervious to ruin.

But founded one upon unmitigated greed electing only men like them to lead.

Allowing men like them the power 

To exist in a world where rules did not apply to them (Invariably white, protestant, wealthy landowners) and there was no consequence for any of their actions.

America was a reject country, founded by rejects, governed by rejects.
