I like to study the Bible. Not because I believe the stories in there but for various reasons that all have to do with acquiring as much knowledge as possible. Some of the books in the Torah are Wisdom books in the Egyptian tradition and were most likely written in Alexandria and certainly not by Solomon.

I like to learn things to teach them to others but most people are too daft to know what is in their best interest so they are resistant to growth. So this creates a lot of problems for me just trying to exist in a world where I try so hard to live the right way but suffer immeasurably because the people around me do not.
