The Moonlit Night

This is such a great poem. I can’t believe I wrote it. It’s a poem that if I read it and someone else had written it I would wish I had written it.

Benjamin Stone's avatarMusings of the Mad

The moonlit night was creaking

With creatures who creak in the night.

Creatures who cause a great fright—

To anyone who’s sneaking!

Attracted to all of the light—

And suddenly I’m shrieking!

Eager to take a big bite—

And suddenly I’m freaking!

Out at the sounds of the night.

I’ll never revisit the site.
