This is a song I am currently writing. The lyrics have changed since I first posted this and so I will have to edit them. It’s about several things but really about the chorus.
🎵 What the fuck is in my brain, man I think I’m insane
THROUGH THE PAIN I EXPLAIN THAT I’M TOO YOUNG TO COMPLAIN
AND IF YOU EVER WERE as CLEVER AS A SONG ABOUT MARS
YOU’D be choosing from the musings of a spaced-out rock star.
Let sleeping dogs lie which they will to get by
Because the world you’ve created forces them to rely
On you
for food
for existence, dude.
A little much like slavery, if I’m being true.
CHORUS
If you begin to live
No one can stop you
You have something to give
And your wealth is needed
There’s a pain in my brain that forces me to remain
As docile as the fossil of a dinosaur brain
You know that none of them were actually the size of a pea
That’s just some stupid bullshit that they want you to believe
If ever you should sever, never stand beside me
Because I faint when I see blood and I know that you’ll bleed
I’ve seen this before. You’re trying to beat me to the punch
And I’ll let you and forget you so I don’t have to confront 🎵
