Poetry is magic—

It makes me feel so good—

Whenever I am real depressed

I write and I feel good—

I hope that you can read it

And start to understand

How vital to the culture

It is across the land—

You’ve often heard it said—

And we are all immortal—

And all of us are dead—

We’ve all died many times—

It might be hard to swallow—

But souls are all eternal—
