Hummingbirds are faeries.
You prob’ly just forgot.
Flitting to and fro to drink
The nectar from the frocks
Of tiny little flowers
Held by tiny little elves.
(The ones within the glen, you know.
Not ones upon your shelves.)
And elves are tiny spirits
That God put on the Earth.
Sometimes they misbehave
To make you prove your worth.
Not everyone is here
To help you find your way.
Some are here to hinder you.
We must be strong today.
