A Tree with a heart
I drew this freehand on my Macbook trackpad in Photoshop. Part of the Art is the limits you place on yourself. I learned that from Jack White who I no longer respect, but that was his concept behind the White Stripes and he learned it from an old Son House song called Grinnin’ In Your Face (which I have covered on YouTube or TikTok before) which is just vocals and Son tapping his foot, not really even in a consistent time. It works so well and it’s such a simple formula. Sometimes the bigger the box you try to create in, the less artistic the end result. Look at all this polish in animated films now. It’s no longer Art.

You think a tree doesn’t have
A soul
Just like yours?
Au contraire mon frère.
They have them and they’re pure.
Stop living in your own head and spend
Time living in others’.
Well, trees have no heads,
But all of us have Mother.
