23-day streak?
Am I starting to peak?
I highly oppose the idea
My own nose is that it’s clear
The heart froze when you neared
It endeared me to someone you weren’t.
Guess I got burnt.

I have to confess that my
Life was a mess and this
Weight on my chest was
Too much but I’m blessed that the
Way is now clear though it’s
Not easy to tread.
Could be much worse, you know?
Least I’m not dead.

I have a 23-day streak of posting poetry which means I’m feeling way better than I was more than 23-days ago health-wise. I was down and out for a little while there so it’s nice to reflect and see my progress.

BTW, there’s some Masonic significance to the number 23 which I’m not clear on but I’m very aware of the significance of the number 33. Anyway not an intentional reference.
