I’m so blessed and equally grateful that I have this preternatural ability to form thought into words in a way that is emotionally engaging and compelling and I never take that for granted for a second but readers it was a LOT of work and I had to be very deliberate about it. I have read so many books on poetry. In fact, I am currently reading Robert Graves The White Goddess which is the best book I’ve ever read on poetry and it’s not really instructional. It’s simply matter-of-fact. It’s the whys behind poetry and also the whys not.
