I hate that I prefer to be asleep

Than to be awake.

I hate that my life has become 

Counting hours every day

Until I can take meds to make me go to sleep again.

I just want not to be in pain.

It’s like I cannot win.

What must I do that I haven’t done

To end this misery?

I just want you to tell me, Lord.

Please help me see.
