If gratitude is the key as some say.
Then I will express it as often as I can.
I did today: in tears I thanked the Lord.
For blessing me so richly in this land.

But Earthly riches are worth less than zero.
You cannot take them with you. Know what you can?
The experiences you had here. The people you played hero
For when the going got quite out-of-hand.

And evidence you’ve touched people will blossom.
In ways they might not even know themselves.
All will be revealed to you. So awesome.
A panorama view of life itself.

What our souls are is hard to comprehend.
But it’s all there is and it will never end.
