Hera was Earth in Ancient Greek mythology. The Church and Academia (which is sponsored by THE CHURCH) do not want you to know the real meaning of the Trinity: Earth-Saturn-Sol. Isis-Osiris-Horus, Mary-El-Jesus, Devaki-Vasudeva-Krishna. All these trinities are Earth-Saturn-Sol. In fact, in every ancient belief system I have ever seen the Creator God is Saturn, the Earth god is the Virgin Mother, and the Sun is the resulting offspring also an analogue for the human soul.
This gets jumbled a bit in Greek Mythology but Herkales is the resulting offspring and Herkales is, of course the Sun or Sol, the human soul. In Roman Mythology it’s Juno who is the Earth but Jupiter and she only bore four children none of which are the Sun so that’s confusing but do you know who is the Sun in Roman Mythology that I know of off the top of my head? Dionysus.
The hero’s journey wherever you see it in ancient literature is Sol’s journey through the 12 Astrological Signs and thus the Soul’s journey on Earth. As above, so below.
There were once temples to Hera all across the Northern Mediterranean. A lot were refashioned for Patriarchal gods. Try googling Hera temples and see what fun things happen. They were in Italy too, pre-Rome.
