This might open some of your eyes to the lies we’re told about the slave trade in North America. I suspect the largest percenatge of slaves in the New World were already here when Europeans showed up. I read a lot of first-hand accounts from the first settlers to North America and there are all sorts of accounts of Black Indigenous people. The Shinnecock Tribe that sold Manhattan to the Europeans were Black! Google them. There have been some famous Shinnecock.
