Think Gilgamesh and poor Enkidu for whom he
wept for seven nights.
We should adore each other
If we’re going to get this right.
So Sappho, fair, of Lesbos
With her turtle-shell lyre and verse.
Wrote passionately for women,
But not sexually, of course.
This is why so many modern Academics get confused.
No one cares that much for them! They mostly get abused!
