Any of you remember Zwan? The post-Pumpkins Billy Corgan-led supergroup? They had some real talent and they were incredible live. I bought the album Mary Star of the Sea, which if you own a CD player is worth buying. I think I have it digital too, and I always enjoyed it. I was reading reviews for it today and some articles on it’s 20th anniversary a few years ago.
Anyway this live performance of the band was uploaded to YouTube recently and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to it. There’s a lot of stuff they do here that wasn’t on the album and I dug that stuff too. Paz’s background vocals set this group apart. I wish they had made more music but Billy Corgan is a notorious A-hole to work with unfortunately. I can’t stand the guy but I still enjoy his music.
I’ll link the album too in case any of you are interested in hearing it. I love it and revisit it often.
