was Black.

But here’s his wikipedia entry:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_II_of_England

does this look like a Black guy?

But a contemporary wanted poster for said Charles II describes him as a “tall, Black man.”

What’s funny is the source for this on the internet that I found is an article pulling HARD against the idea he was actually Black. You see, Black had a different meaning then! Yes, it meant white but dark-complected! Give me a break, man. If I didn’t know to look for lies like this, I might be gullible enough to believe that. But I know my history and I know this man was Black as were all Kings in that part of Europe in those days. Heck, there were Black Moors in Mexico when the Europeans showed up.

You really have to educate yourself to the point that NO ONE can lie to you.

By the way: do you know who Charles II’s grandfather was? King James of the Holy Bible fame. He was also Black.

This image used to be in every King James Bible! I wonder why they stopped putting it in there?

The very clearly white-washed version of King James VI and I.
