This poem is really a poem I wrote myself to remind myself of exactly what I write here. But I needed “you” to rhyme with “do” so I changed it to what you see below. It’s excellent advice, or I wouldn’t have given it to myself!

Your job is really easy.
There’s little for you to do.
You just have to walk the path
That God has chosen for you.
You can’t be led astray.
Not a laden step in vain—
Every moment—meaningful—
Made in this domain.
Don’t live in the past,
Or worry about the future.
Just look deep within.
God provides a suture.
You only need have faith
That everything will be
Just as every little thing
Was always meant to be.
