I’ve been doing some self-reflecting, which I do constantly and highly recommend to everyone, and I think I come off as too preachy sometimes. I like to inform, but I only hope to create enough curiosity in others to encourage them to inform themselves. I don’t expect or wish to be considered a source of information. So, I’m going to try and do less of “You should do this,” when there are a whole lot of things that I should be doing that I’m not, and simply present myself as an example for you to either follow or not follow, but I’ll justify my positions.
This was a poem I purely wrote to myself. I do that a lot. Sometimes I’ll write poems to God or another aspect of God like Luna, my lover. (We have an open relationship. I’m hot for Venus too, but understand these relationships are fierce, but plutonic.) This one I wrote me.
Be okay with how your body feels
No matter how it feels.
You already know this principle,
You do it with gratitude.
If you’re good with how you feel,
You’re going to trick your brain.
It’s all about your attitude!
Don’t force me to explain!
