A poem I just wrote about having a green thumb.

So I channeled this. What I did was I came up with the first line in a spit of inspiration and I jotted it down. It was enough to go on. So today I took that line, posted it here and just finished the poem in my edit post screen. The best poetry comes like that. What I have found the ability to do when I capture inspiration, is to put myself back in the frame of mind I was in when it was inspired, and channel the rest of the poem. It’s really effortless too. If it feels hard you’re doing it wrong. Love you.

I woke up and my thumb was green

I might be leprechaunish.

I just was dancing in a dream—

Feeling sort of faunish.

Well, on the bright side, my lovely plants will love it.

Watch out for me now.

I might just grow an elderberry.

In my god-dang house.
