We are not meant to read the Bible and think that a man named David emerged and slew a giant, rising to become King over all of Judah. We are meant to see ourselves when we read about David. We are supposed to understand that David is an analogue for humanity itself. David is just the story of Jesus Christ told a different way. This is why Jesus is said to be descended from David. Only after the Catholic Church emerged were these stories interpreted literally and not allegorically.

These are things that were well understood in the past and have been completely obscured today to the extent that these pricelessly valuable texts that we still have today go completely unappreciated by the vast majority of the population who is convinced they are meant to be interpreted as literal historic events. This isn’t an accident. It’s antichrist. It’s the Beast that the Whore of Babylon (The Catholic Church) rides upon in the Book of Revelation.
