I metal-detected my way into caves.
With art on the walls from long-ago days.
I looked and took pictures but they didn’t save.
The State later locked them off I hate to say.

This reminded me suddenly of the ridiculous scene in the Star Wars The Acolyte show (which I did not watch but did watch people mercilessly rip on YouTube) where the Jedi freaking knights are using metal detectors to search for a vergance in the force. Mercy.
