His ancestors were from Europe.
I learned this not too long ago.
They don’t tell this in books.
A lot of Black Americans
Came over just like White ones.
But their history has been obscured
And replaced with a false one.

This isn’t at all surprising to me. We’re being misled about the natives who were already living here when Europeans “discovered” it. They were mostly Black. The Shinicock Tribe who sold Manhattan to settlers (who thought they were getting one over on the white men because how can anyone OWN land?) They were Black! They still have gatherings.
