I saw a purple butterfly
But only in my mind.
I feel that it perceived me
And knew that I was kind.
A dog came out from under porch
Today at an Amish house.
He walked right up and begged a pat
As gentle as a mouse.

I love that animals can sense your soul.
It’s like a seal of approval from Mother Earth.
