This is a van Gogh painting which is why I keep using it.

I spit a lot of facts in this one. If you don’t fact-check me, shame on you, unless you knew all of this already.

As an aside I saw someone point out last night that J.R.R. Tolkien’s world was flat until it was formed into a sphere suddenly at some point. But if you accuse him of using metaphor or allegory in his writing he’d. admonish you. But I’m smart enough to get the analogy. Our world was once thought of as flat too! Universally! Fixed and immovable. Again, it was universally accepted. But Freemason’s had their own design. And now most people think we live on a ball floating around in Space. And I am not trying to start an argument. You can believe whatever you want. You’re not going to change my mind anyway. I know for observable fact we don’t live on a sphere. You could too if you gave it enough time and thought. There’s no two points on Earth that are parallel to each other you can’t see without any deviation in altitude for as far as the human eye can see across that distance. And bear in mind the reason we can’t see past that distance has zero to do with the curvature of the Earth. I’m an artist trained in vanishing points. Even at short distances things vanish relatively quickly. If you’re in a tunnel longer than 3 miles you cannot see to the other end of it. It will be perfectly level, of course.

If you ask me whether I trust the Bible or the Catholic Church, I’m going with the Bible. And the Catholic Church is behind the idea that the Earth is a Sphere and that we’re a tiny blue dot in a ever expanding Universe of unimaginable scale. Ha ha. I used to believe that! I was sure of it. My dad bought me a globe and taught me where everything was at 4. But I kept on learning!

The Bible is a parable of parables.
It’s true.
Inside are lots of stories,
Written not to deceive you
Into believing that they really
Happened on a time,
But rather to enlighten you.
I mean the lit’ral kind.
See, the story of baby Moses was told
Much earlier, I’m afraid,
Just of Sargon the Great
And the River—the Euphrates.
But upon further research
(Which I’m often wont to do)
I found it just says “River”
In the stone where it was hewn.
I also understand why.
They want us to believe
The Euphrates in the Bible is the
Same one that we see
Today
But it ain’t.
And they probably murdered most of the Saints.
