I study the ways in which our Bible has been intentionally mistranslated and it always takes me aback the levels to which it has been and that it appears so deliberate.
The first word of any Hebrew sacred text is always the letter Alph, which is equivalent to our A. First letter of the Hebrew Bible is Beit. Clearly it’s been mistranslated. And we are not even going to get into the fact that all the vowels in the Hebrew Bible were added between 600 CE and the 10th century. It’s widely known the meaning of the original Hebrew has been obscured in part by this.
So what does the first verse of the Bible probably say?
The Father of the beginnings created the Cosmos and everything else.
It says the Father, which is the Hebrew word Abba. It doesn’t say that the creation WAS the beginning like it does in the mistranslation.
This is a theme throughout the Bible.
You really have to know how it has been mistranslated in parts to understand the Bible and to understand how it’s been weaponized against us to control us.
For instance the entire portion of the Bible where Jesus ascends to Heaven is not original to the gospels. We have a version of Luke that does not contain it and a newer version that does. Can’t debate that.
