Fate Intercedes

I used to be the other day,
But that weren’t even me.
This ain’t either,
Keep up, mouth-breather.
They made-up History.
And that weren’t you!
What I’m telling you’s true.
I know it is hard to believe.
Your brain is focused on extending your life,
But often Fate intercedes.

The point of this poem is to not be so focused on dying it ruins the living you’ve got left.

I tried to express this to my dad the other day. He’s really worried about being unredeemed. I tried to explain to him that no soul is ever punished for messing up. We all carry Karma, and sometimes just generational karma, that we have to bear in this life and shed to our best ability. It’s a ton of work, but you can’t be a wuss about it and the benefits from living your life that way are worth the effort anyway.

I love you all and I’m so eternally grateful to have you as readers. I tell my family all the time I’m more thankful for the handful of readers I have on this blog than any of my other social followings which are substantially larger! Funny thing is I get eyes on this and it’s my target audience so it’s making more of an impact I like to believe.

Not to mention I say tons of things on here all the time you just can’t say on social media.
