When you watch the news or you pay attention to public theatre, it doesn’t matter HOW you react to what you see. Most public events are designed to make people react in different ways depending on how they are programmed. They do not care which way you react.

They just want you to react. Because the dark spirits they serve feed off of any energetic reaction to theatre. That’s why Greek drama became a thing. It’s why Hollywood exists.

Does Jesus not say “Turn the other cheek,” when your enemy strikes one? Offer him the second. Practice this. Start by not reacting to small things. Say to yourself, “Oh, that doesn’t matter, does it?”
