COVID keeps on killing kids and 

No one seems to care!

“Send them to their destiny

It’s better for them there.”

All so Mom and Dad can work

And function the machine

So the people killing us can

Add to wealth, obscene.

And men who promised to protect

Are instead counting cash

From the very companies

Treating us as trash.

Sick with COVID and survive?

You’re quickly ushered back

They can’t get richer without you.

They cut you little slack,

But they consider happiness

Is just around the bend

“If only I achieve more wealth

Than I could ever spend…”

But wealth won’t fill the empty place

That lives within their souls.

However much they put in it

It’ll always be a hole!
