Your eyes are an epic poem
A glimpse, to the world, of your grace.
The look upon your face
Melts my heart away.
Your arms are a warm embrace.
Safety, security, the absence of ill.
You know that I have no chill.
So, Lady, I’m telling you.
Your voice is a silken shroud:
So gentle, flowing like a stream
Sometimes I dream
That voice is soothing me to sleep.
Your love is a saving grace.
I was lost in the wilderness—then I met you.
