I hope you folks understand that I don’t do anything I do performatively. If you’ve read for long enough you’ve probably noticed my poetry and writings have become way more God-centric, but not religious. I don’t do religion. I told someone who asked if I was Christian once that I am spiritual—not religious. I hope he knew what I mean. Many people don’t understand there is even a difference.

My mom prob’ly thinks I can
Live on my own.
But I’m not alone.
I have God.
It might look to you I’ve accomplished
A lot.
But I’ve done nothing without God.
It’s hard sometimes to avoid taking credit
‘Cause I did the work
It took to tap into
The divinity stream
That consciousness gleam—
But all of these things are all God.
