It occurs to me Opryland made me live in the now. Non-Nashvillians won’t really get this, but perhaps you have a theme park or someplace you’ve always gone to forget about whatever bothers you about your past or worries you about your future. They paved it and built a shopping mall. But it’s pretty funny.…

Be careful you are not dwelling on the past, not to learn from it, but to guilt-trip yourself over something you’ve already grown from. Try as best you can to live in the now. Use those experiences as an index. Don’t use them to beat yourself up over something someone else did or didn’t do.…
