I just had a thought and needed a place to put it; Plato and the authors of the Bible are doing the same exact thing, just in a different format. The New Testament is unmistakably Greek Mythology. The names are different than most people are familiar with because this is a Neo-Greek mythology. Under new ownership. But here’s the thing: people treat Plato and Socrates as historic figures. Neither are. Both are archetypes. In the same way Mark didn’t write Mark and Moses didn’t dictate his own death in the Pentateuch.
See Jesus = Socrates = Hercules = Odysseus (we can go on, but need we?)
And these stories are all about the journey of the human soul. Do you know how much anyone really knows about ACTUAL history from back then? I’m sure someone has kept records but they’re under lock and key for sure. You don’t. I don’t. But I know enough to know that everything they claim has been invented, and that most of the “empires” they claim existed in the past were actually mythological representations of the aspect of the ego that the soul needs to defeat on the journey to reunification with the Self.
You see, truth is universal. Ha. FItting. Uni means one. Verse means turning. The truth is the truth no matter what language you speak, or write in, or click or squack.
Geez, I used to know this girl who did an awful lot of squacking.
